Welcome to the Mesa
Bruz is releasing a new limited edition beer this Friday that you don’t want to miss! Colorado Mesa Beer has a fragrant hoppy nose and flavor from our generous charge of Multihead hops – a Neomexicanus variety named for its tendency to produce dual cones. The hop was originally found growing wild in the mountains of northern New Mexico. It is part of the Neomexicanus family and is one of the few hops with no connection to European hop varieties, making it a true North American hop.
A Table Beer
Mesa means table in Spanish, and the many mesas in the southwestern United States, particularly in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah, are flat topped landforms with steep sides that resemble tables. At 4.5% alcohol, Colorado Mesa Beer fits in with other very drinkable, low-gravity table beers.
Big Aromas and Flavors
Colorado Mesa Beer is a slightly hazy golden ale with a big, dense white head. Its fruity aroma and flavors are reminiscent of melon, apricot and citrus. It starts with a decidedly bitter flavor which opens up into a long, fruity finish. Colorado Mesa Beer pairs well with many types of food, especially New Mexican and Mexican dishes.
